Had a horrible week. Suffered from fluctuating high fever, shivering, severe headache, nausea, flu & confusion. Became a suspected case for dengue fever, luckily it was confirmed that I didn't get it eventually. Am still recovering now. Anyway, as promised, the post on NDP rehersal that I watched on 30th June.
I'm sure everyone knows that this time round, the parade is held at Marina Bay instead of the usual National Stadium as the latter was under renovation. Seats there were cramped, tibits from the "goodie bag" was yucky, and we were seated behind a row of action Ah Bengs. Heng the aunties behind us were funny (lol).
Besides the-usual-acts-that-you-see-in-every-NDP , this year, in collaboration with the NS 40 years anniversary, you get to see those army boys in action as well. And, the parade really made use of the sea since it's situated at Marina Bay now.
They infiltrated the audience, made a lot of poses, and my friend is one of them.
It's getting a bit boring & I got mesmerised by the sky instead. The sky was beautiful that day.
The NDP ended with no fireworks. Chey.
