This year, I had a tiring but great Christmas. It's so memorable that I've decided to blog about it so I can read it years later :) The post will be divided into 3 parts as I met up with 3 different cliques within the 2 days (Christmas Eve & Day itself).

So on Christmas Eve, I met up with Al at Tanjong Pagar as early as 12noon. Earlier, we have decided to live in self-delusion for a day, acting as a tourist & explore around Singapore. We started off from Icon Village @ Tanjong Pagar & ended in Bugis Junction, all by foot k. Between the 2 points, we explored Chinatown, Clarke Quay & City Hall as well.


Located at Tras Street, this is the very first shop that we entered. It happens to be a supermarket that sells only Korean products.


Since we acted as tourists from Thailand (me) & Japan (Al), we bought an ice-cream there at $1.30 nia. Have to buy something from there ma, must be 100% tourist & try stuff you never had in your country. And...don't ask me how does a Thai & Japanese would travel to Singapore together.


After that, we walked along the street which have Singapore's most number of bridal shops located in one area. The end of the street is the headquarter of Ya Kun's, of course must try.



One set which includes tea/coffee, 2 eggs & 2 kaya toasts cost $3.70. It's really very nice! There's one cute aunty there very friendly too.

Maxwell Food Centre is just across Ya kun's, which means more yummy food!


We went to fried hum ji pang! It's just $1 for six, not very big but delicious. But Al a bit exaggerated lah, say what eat liao can fly leh. This stupid aunty in pink who is in front of us bought $10 worth of hum ji pang, which means we have to wait for her to fried 60 hum ji pang can! Wait till siao ar.


Finally it's our turn after 25min. I know how to fried hum ji pang liao!


With our hot hum ji pang, we crossed the road & went to this much talked about magnificent temple which just opened this year.

It's fully air-conditioned inside & they have beautiful basins in their toilets. Rich sia.

Next to the temple is Chinatown Food Street. This place is full of tourists ar.



We wanted to check out the museum in Chinatown Heritage Centre but the admission ticket cost $9.80. Act also must act as a smart fake tourists, see their souvenir shop can liao, so we gave the museum a miss.


This raincoat they are selling are freaking funny lah. Doesn't the girl look very pek chek? LOL.



At this point of time, we got really tired & hot (weather is damn sunny) from all the walk. Thus, we went to Dessert Hut @ People's Park Centre for cold desserts while recharging ourselves.


After a short rest, we walked over to Central for shopping~



Then, it's Liang Court which is just behind Central.




We went to Meidi-Ya supermarket & bought their sushi. It's freaking delicious lah, this one really eat liao can fly, no joke! Al said she miss her hometown food, so she want to eat -_-

And most importantly, I finally managed to eat the ice-cream from Haato! Wanted to try it for the longest time already. $3.50 per cup. I had their Rock Melon while Al had the Durian. Hao chi!
After that, we walked past Fort Canning Park. Wanted to climb up there but we were too tired to do so.

And there's Civil Defence Heritage Gallery, didn't go in as well.

No more pictures after that as City Hall & Bugis are nothing special. Woo this is a long post. Next up will be Part 2 which I spent my Christmas Eve night with [S.L.A.C.K].
