To celebrate Kh's 21st, Thom & myself planned a whole day of events for the birthday boy. We invited Mz & Felix to join us, but the latter couldn't make it due to work. For our first stop, we went prawning & fishing at Pasir Ris!






We actually took up prawning (tell you why we went fishing later) which cost $14.50/hr, so we took up 2 sets of the 3 + 1 hour free package that cost $43.50/set. Very ex, so we decided to share rods, 2 person shared one. Fishing more ex, $20+ to 30+/hr.




Very excited people. Didn't even bother to put the bags down first, lol.

Machiam tai-tai spending her lazy afternoon like that. Tsk.




2 hours have passed & still no catch! There's 4 of us leh!

Super bored. So we started cam-whoring & eventually, decided to present Bei You Ji that Thom & myself made to Kh first to kill off time, lol. We initially wanted to give it to him at night de.

This prawn is dead one lah, we saw it floating around our pond. I think it kana sunburnt cos the water is too hot from the sun. Took it to take a picture with it (in case we didn't have any catch after 4 hours ma). Damn smelly lah.





It was only 10min before our 4 hours is up when we saw 2 kids (I think 8, 9 years old only) & their maid fishing near us. The one in yellow & another with the orange hat. They caught fish like every minute can! Kids & maid leh!





Wah lau, of course we must go over lah, like so easy to like that. We spoke to the kids & they taught us how to fish, lol. We realised it's the problem with our bait, must use fresh prawn meat! Sia lah, no wonder they so good provide free bait, yuan lai the prawns & fishes don't like to eat de. So we went to buy some prawns at a shop nearby.

Sure enough...




First fish caught! Within 3min! Thom is too excited until he forgot he was showing his armpit hair to the whole world. Because people need to take care of his image (ren jia shi zhou ou xiang lu xian de k!), need to cover up for him lah. Ya I know the fish is small, still, it's our first catch!








Mine, Kh's & Mz's first catch not long after. Mz's fish dropped onto the floor & Thom actually kicked it back into the sea, as if it's a soccer ball......evil. He shall be recarinated into a pathetic fish his next life.

We got our third catch too. Only Kh didn't get to catch his third fish, give the fishes buffet only, lol. We eventually stayed till the person-in-charged chased us away, which exceeded 40min for our 4 hours time. He didn't charge us extra, lucky~




After fishing, we went for a lo-man-tic~ dinner by the beach at East Coast Park.

And how can we forget...the birthday cake~ We actually bought this from Gelare but sat at McCafe instead, cool huh.






It was a fun-filled day :)
