The team of 4 cyclists finally went on with the third PCN cycle.

This time round, we planned to cover the smaller loop (from East Coast Park to Bedok Reservoir, then back to East Coast Park) since we've covered the bigger one twice.

Seem easy?

Apparently not!

Yeah, the sun's out, the sky's beautiful & there's wind. But hell, it was damn hot lah.

To get to Bedok Reservoir, we have to first pass an underground from East Coast Park (ECP). Sounds great, but the thing is, you MUST carry your bikes as the stairs up & down the underground are super steep.

The only fun thing down there is that you can play with echoes. We went crazy over the echoes as we shouted like no tomorrow. Remind me we are all gonna be 21 this year.

Bedok Reservoir is our first destination, and the stupid cartoon-y map provided by the National Park website made us believed that it will be an easy, no-frills ride.

DO NOT believe the innocent looking map, people. There isn't enough signage & most are not clear. Thinking we were cycling towards the beautiful Bedok Reservoir, we ended up at...

Eastpoint which is located at Simei -_-

I don't wanna go shopping! I want to cycle!

It took us so many wrong directions when we finally reached our destination.

Heck, must really take a good look at the reservoir. By then, we were already dehydrated & very tired. Water ain't enough.

We made many wrong moves again on our way back to ECP & finally, we decided to ask direction from people. Luckily, a pro cyclist was helpful enough to lead us the way.

As he is a pro road cyclist, we cycled on the road full of cars. Dangerous sia, luckily 我们有练过.

To make long story short, this route sucks. Definetely not for novice cyclists. Cycle the Coastal & Changi Park Connector, the view is better & of course, you won't get lost.
