On 31.08.08, where were you?




Mz & I went for Nike+ Human Race 10K!

It's a running cum charity event involving 25 cities around the world, with 1 million people running on the same day. Lance Armstrong Cancer Foundation was both of our choosen charitable organisation which Nike will donate money on our behalf to. The others were WWF Panda & UN Refugees Fund.




The race pack was collected one week before the actual race at Clarke Quay, The Cannery.




The pack can be collected between 10am to 9pm. So, we reached at 11am only to see...

And here are my 3 queuing companions. BeeBee, WanLu (whom I happened to chance upon them while queing during the first hour), and of course, Mz.




The queue was so freaking looooooooooooooong that the host of the day decided to play some games with us & throwing freebies in the air. This socks landed in front of me, so yeah, 不拿白不拿, lol.




When we were nearing the collection booth (like finally), Th, whom also joined the race with his army friends, called. He just reached, so yarlah...just let him cut queue, shhhhhh. Lucky he got me sia.

I can't believe we waited 5 hours 20 minutes for it.
