A maternal family dinner at Silver Shell Cafe @ Rasa Sentosa Resort by Shangri-La, which was famous for their Asian cuisine.

They were having Seafood Buffet that night but we choosed to dine ala carte eventually because yours sincerely doesn't like seafood :)

Mum had Hainanese Pork Chop ($15+++) which was fantastic, especially the sauce & coleslaw.

Dad had Hainanese Chicken Rice ($15+++), quite normal lah.

Big Aunt got herself Nasi Padang ($18+++), which she loved so much ever since she tried it with her friends eons ago. But the fried rice & satay was really good lah.

My beauty queen cousin had pasta because she had swollen gums, lol. Didn't try this but she said it wasn't very nice.

I had Sirloin Steak ($26+++), done medium. I think they got it medium well-done for me instead as the meat just got too chewy for me to handle, machiam eating rubber like that.

Didn't take the rest as they were too many people.

Almost all eating places at PS were overspilled with queues, so Al & myself ended up in Cafe Cartel.

Their signature St. Loius Pork Ribs ($12.80++) was what I ate. I remember my very first experience with this ribs was a few years ago & it was amazing. But I couldn't say the same this time round.

Fries were skimpy & the meat on the ribs was too tough.

Same thing for the Chicken & Fish Combo ($15.40++) that Al had. It just looked like foodcourt stuff lah, worse still, it doesn't taste good.

Sakae Sushi buffet eaten with the girls & JJ eons ago.

Food ok-ok only lah, but don't know why, I'll just crave for it sometimes.

In search for a new watering hole, I took Mz & JJ to Loof @ Odeon Tower (#03-07), which was just a few steps away from my working place.

It's situated on the rooftop of Odeon Towers & enjoys a good ambience.

Menu cum makeshift shelter, lol.

Bar food for us - fries ($7.30) & pizza ($14.70).

Cocktails - Seabreeze ($13.60), Long Island Tea ($18.90) & Singapore Sling ($18.90).

Loof is a nice place to chill but it just irritates us that as the crowd started to grow deeper into the night, the service got worst. One of the staff actually told us to leave as we had finished our food & drinks so that others can take our seats. Not in a very nice way too.

Apparently, the toliets there aren't safe as well.
